One of the most profound truths revealed in the New Testament is the Christian's spiritual position in Christ. You are not an ordinary person struggling to survive on earth; you have been raised up together with Christ and seated with Him in heavenly places. This is not a future promise or a metaphorical idea—it is your present spiritual reality from the moment you were born again.

To be seated with Christ means to share in His position of supreme authority. Ephesians 1:21 reveals that Christ is seated far above all principality, power, might, dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. Since you are in Him, you are spiritually positioned far above sickness, lack, fear, demonic influence, and the corrupting forces of this world.

Authority operates on legal rights and divine backing, not physical strength. When a traffic officer steps into the road and raises a hand, heavy vehicles come to an immediate stop—not because of the officer's physical power, but because of the authority vested by the government. In the same way, when you speak in the Name of Jesus, all of heaven's authority stands behind your words. Demons, sicknesses, and adverse circumstances must yield to your command.

Stop viewing yourself from a natural standpoint. You are not at the mercy of the economy, family history, or worldly conditions. Live every day with the consciousness of your heavenly position. Exercise your God-given authority over your environment, enforce the victory of Christ in your daily affairs, and walk boldly as a master over circumstances.
